Hinges

While it is not normal for hinges to break, they will need to be replaced if they do. Sometimes hinges develop visible stress cracks that lead to failure. They come in different gauge thicknesses and come numbered depending on the offset needed for the section they are used. They are also used on the center stiles and end stiles securing the roller stems to the door. Lubrication can increase the service life and reduce noise.
