Rollers

Rollers come in different sizes and are made with steel and or nylon heads. Most sectional, residential garage doors use 2 and 3 inch diameter rollers, either with or without bearings, depeding on work load and cycles needed. The stem length also varies from 3-11", depending on the door application. A typical roller has a life span on 10,000-15,000 cycles, and a weight load of 35-100 pounds per roller. Generally a 7' high garage door has 10 rollers. Lubricating them at least twice per year will help you acheive the service life expected.
